The Sigma 6‑16S benchtop centrifuge offers a maximum capacity of 4 x 750 ml in a swing-out rotor or 6 x 250 ml in a fixed-angle rotor. It features a speed range up to 13,500 rpm (~20,376 × g), a user-friendly Spincontrol S controller, and an extra-large display screen. The unit is compact, space-saving, and operates at a low noise level. Safety features include automatic rotor identification, motorised lid lock, automatic imbalance monitoring, and rotor life monitoring. The centrifuge also boasts a zero-maintenance induction motor and an easily cleaned stainless steel chamber. 

For applications requiring temperature control, the Sigma 6‑16KS offers similar capacity and speed but includes high-performance cooling with a temperature setting range from –20 °C to +40 °C. This refrigerated model ensures optimal conditions for temperature-sensitive samples.

For larger volumes, the Sigma 8KS floor-standing refrigerated centrifuge accommodates up to 12 x 1,000 ml bottles in a swing-out rotor or 6 x 1,000 ml bottles in a fixed-angle rotor. It features a maximum RCF of 20,461 × g, a temperature range from –20 °C to +40 °C, and a user-friendly Spincontrol S controller. The ergonomic design includes an 88 cm loading height and energy-efficient operation. Safety features mirror those of the Sigma 6‑16KS, including automatic rotor identification and imbalance monitoring.
